FRARLIBETH In New York

My new favourite hobby is taking my designs to new countries; they have visited Monaco, Cyprus and now New York! I am a city girl at heart, I felt so at home in New York. Today I am going to share a recap of my trip, it was a good one! From losing my umbrella to Paris Hilton telling me she loved my dress, it all happened.

04.30AM at Heathrow Airport

A very early start! Headed straight to Cafe Nero, grabbed a latte and my sister was already bringing out the UNO.

Arrived in NYC!

Seeing the Empire State building for the first time from our taxi was so surreal. This was my first time in America and my first long haul flight so it was a dream (even though I was exhausted by this stage!)

DINNER AT THE TERRACE

First dinner out in New York was at The Terrace and Outdoor Gardens which was certainly the best restaurant we went to. Before dinner I had to get some content of course wearing the new gold sequin mini dress! (Serena Van Der Woodsen vibes!)

The MET STEPS

I was so excited about visiting the MET steps! If you have watched Gossip Girl you will of course understand.

MEETING PARIS HILTON?!

Yes that's right, I met Paris Hilton. For ages now I have always said I really want to meet Paris, I just didn't know it was going to happen so soon and happen in New York! Did I mention she said she loved my dress too? Life made.

CONTENT IN THE CITY

I didn't really have a content plan like I normally do for photoshoots, if we found a good spot we got the camera out! I think my brand suits NYC so well, this dress especially really encapsulated 'city chic'.

gathering inspiration

As one of the fashion capitals, of course I had to do some design research (by research I mean shopping). The Ralph Lauren store on Madison Avenue was stunning, this gold dress caught my eye!

SEEING THE SIGHTS

You can't go to a new city and not see the sights. The Summit One Vanderbilt building is a must see, just look at this view!

So that concludes my first trip to New York City! I will definitely be back next year and with a new collection in tow. Going to get designing now...
